The European Commission has selected 20 representatives from different countries and sectors to advise the Commission on defining priorities for a future industrial policy

One of members of the High Level Industrial Round Table 2030 - hosted by Commission Vice President Jyrki Katainen and Commissioner Elżbieta Bieńkowska - is Ceemet Vice President Ineke Dezentjé Hamming Bluemink.

Ineke Dezentjé Hamming Bluemink, also Chair of Dutch Ceemet member FME, used the opportunity to highlight that Europa can beat the Asian tiger and the American eagle by accelerating the digitalisation of our economy and society.

"Europe can be the winner of the digital revolution. Technology is of uttermost importance, but we need to make sure that we leave no one behind”

says the Ceemet the Vice President. She referred to the Ceemet Vision Paper for the bigger picture.

This round table was installed following the Communication on Investing in a smart, innovative and sustainable Industry: A renewed EU Industrial Policy Strategy.
