Over the last months a never seen alliance of industry associations have called the European Commission to come up with an industrial strategy – using #industry4europe – reinforcing industry in Europe.
Therefore Ceemet, representing the European tech & industry employers, applauds the announcement of Commission President Juncker during his State of the European Union #SOTEU to present a Communication on an EU Industrial Policy Strategy.
On July 4th Ceemet published its Vision Paper calling for a focus on:
- a triple A in competitivity in Europe
- innovation in the world of work
Ceemet is convinced that greater social cohesion and labour market participation can only be achieved based on the competitiveness of European indudstry. A consequence could also be the re-establishment of the lost connection between EU and its citizens.
