Ceemet to address the High-Level Conference on remote work

More and more flexible forms of work are an element of the future of work. The Portuguese Presidency took the initiative to organise tomorrow’s high level conference looking particularly at the role of remote work. Ceemet President Rainer Ludwig is invited to provide industry views at this Conference.

“Remote Work: Challenges, Risks and Opportunities”

In its “Digitalisation and the World of Work” report, Ceemet already highlighted how the world of work was constantly changing. Recently, and accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, new ways of working and new forms of work have spread rapidly.

The main objective of the Conference is to exchange and to discuss on the opportunities, challenges and risks of these new forms of work and new ways of working. The outcomes of the conference will be integrated into a set of Council conclusions on this subject to be adopted in June 2021.
