Ceemet Vice President

Ceemet has two Vice Presidents of which one is the outgoing President.

Mr. Diego Andreis – Ceemet Vice President 2020-2022

At the 35th General Assembly, Ceemet members elected Diego Andreis, President of the Assolombarda Mechatronics group and Vice President of Italian member organisation Federmeccanica, as Ceemet's new Vice President. He was Ceemet President from 2016-2020.

He is the successor of Ms. Ineke Dezentjé Hamming-Bluemink, President of Dutch member organisation FME, who is outgoing Ceemet Vice-President.

Diego Andreis is the Managing Director of Fluid-o-Tech Srl, a family business with more than 70 years of experience in the engineering and manufacturing of positive displacement pumps and fluidics systems for the automotive, medical, foodservice and industrial field. Fluid-o-Tech has been awarded with the National Prize for Innovation by the President of the Italian Republic in 2014, 2016 and 2017.

He made his first public appearance as Ceemet President at the Roundtable on “Digital skills for the European labour force” on September 20th 2016, organised by Commissioner Günther Oettinger, then responsible for Digital Economy and Society.

Diego Andreis is taking a strong stance on digital skills and their development. During a one-to-one meeting with Commissioner Oettinger, he developed the idea of establishing a Chief Digitalisation Officers in schools.

Mrs. Nancy Pallares – Ceemet Vice President 2020-2022

At Ceemet’s General Assembly on 2nd of October 2020, Nancy Pallares was unanimously elected for a 2-year term as Ceemet Vice President.

Nancy is a French national and a graduate in English from the University of Haute Alsace. She also has a Masters in English Linguistics from the same University.

Her command of several languages and cultures (she has lived in more than nine countries) makes her a very capable member or leader of the team in a large number of business development or advisory roles in almost any industry, country or government organization. Hence her more than two decades long track record in the UK.

Having worked extensively in the Defence sector, in the Domestic and International arena, Nancy is a well-known go-to person in the defence, environmental and security circuit.

In defence, Nancy has been invited to speak publicly on SME interests in defence procurement and Franco-British relationships. She follows the Franco-British Treaty closely and other, maintaining a good cross channel political and commercial network, as well as maintaining her cultural ties with Brazil, where she lived and studied for 6 years.

Nancy sits on the DSMEC (Defence SME Committee) and National Defence Industry Advisory board (NDI powered by MAKE UK). Before her election as Ceemet Vice President, she has been appointed to sit on the Cabinet Office SME Advisory Panel.
