The Commission initiated a specific consultation of social partners on how to improve sectoral social dialogue. In 5 areas, Ceemet formulates ideas how EU social dialogue could be strengthened. These suggestions build upon the joint position paper with industriAll Europe “How to promote a fit for purpose European sectoral social dialogue” (09.2016) which content remains valid.
